JAMAL FACES REALITY WHEN A FRIEND’S ACCIDENT SHOCKS THE SCHOOL COMMUNITY -- Jamal (Wesley Jonathan) is shaken when Charlie (guest star unknown) — an honors student at Manhattan High — is killed by a drunk driver, forcing Jamal to rethink how he spends his time on schoolwork, football, and hanging out with friends. Chris (Scott Whyte) tries to support Jamal while balancing his own PSAT worries, and Cassidy (Marissa Dyan) and Dawn (Caitlin Mowrey) help keep him focused. El‑Train (Steven Daniel) and Alberto (Dion Basco) confront the seriousness of their studies as Principal Noble (Marcella Lowery) offers guidance.
