Daniel Betts stars as Professor Ben Harvey, the Alfea botany teacher and father of Terra and Sam whose presence brings guidance and conflict to the students on "Fate: The Winx Saga."
Before joining "Fate: The Winx Saga," Betts builds a varied acting career in television, film, and stage. He trains at the Drama Centre London and performs in productions on the British and international stage, as well as appearing in television series such as "The Crown," "Gentleman Jack," and "The Girlfriend Experience." These roles give him experience with diverse production styles and ensemble casts prior to his recurring part on the fantasy drama.
In addition to his television work, Betts appears in feature films, including roles in projects such as "Fury" and "Allied," allowing him to work with different directors and crews. His screen work spans drama and historical genres, giving him a broad on‑camera background ahead of his role on "Fate: The Winx Saga."
Outside of acting, Betts co‑founds a theatre company and continues participating in stage and screen projects, expanding his professional work in both live performance and filmed productions.
