MARTIN CHALLENGES FRASIER TO IDENTIFY AN EX‑CON AMONG HIS FRIENDS DURING POKER NIGHT -- Martin (John Mahoney) invites his poker buddies over and boasts that Frasier (Kelsey Grammer) can always spot a criminal. Frasier claims he can tell who has a shady past, so Martin sets up a test by including a friend with a criminal record. Niles (David Hyde Pierce) watches skeptically, while Roz (Peri Gilpin) listens from the kitchen and Daphne (Jane Leeves) chats with guests. Frasier guesses wrong, losing the bet and admitting his judgment isn’t flawless.
