Growing up as an only child, Shedrack Anderson III learned to develop his creativity and imagination by spending hours in front of the mirror making faces and doing dialects. Born in Hollywood, California, he moved with his family to Dallas, Texas as a youngster where he became a member of the Grammy-winning Texas Boys Choir. With that group, he toured the world and gained insight into many different people, places and cultures. Shedrack returned to Hollywood to attend the Los Angles County High School for the Arts, where in 1995 he was honored with the Emerging Artist of the Year Award from PBS. After high school, he attended The Julliard School in New York where he became interested in dance. He was a member of Ballet Hispanico of New York and became an assistant choreographer for Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre. His musical talents include playing the piano, percussion and singing. Shedrack is also a Junior Olympic Champion in Martial Arts with four black belts in Tae Kwan-Do. His film credits include “Hook,” and he has appeared on the television shows “Hollywood Lives,” “The Parkers” and “Hip Hop Massive.” Shedrack currently resides in Hollywood. His birthday is February 4.
